Personal & commercial licensing
Free for personal, nonprofit and local government use within the license terms.
Choose the right license
Individuals can run Mr Patchy free for personal, noncommercial use. Legally recognized nonprofits and local government bodies can use it free on their own systems in support of their mission or public duties. Neither free grant has an endpoint cap or expiry.
Commercial use includes internal operations
A paid license applies to internal company servers, development and test environments, MSP and hosted services, consulting, self-employed business use and client infrastructure. Contractors and service providers using Mr Patchy in their business need a paid license even when their customer qualifies for free use. For-profit schools and state or national government bodies require a paid agreement or separate written exception. Personal ownership of the device does not make business work personal use.
Request an agreement
Contact Robert Cronin through the official project with a brief deployment description and approximate managed endpoint count. Fees, permitted scope, term and any support obligations are agreed in writing. There is no automatic commercial trial or checkout. A request does not authorize commercial operation.
